Settlement Complexity and the Role of Great Kivas in Tularosa Canyon

David Greenwald will be presenting at the Roundup Lodge located at 91 Acklin Hill Road, San Lorenzo, NM, on the Settlement Complexity and the Role of Great Kivas in Tularosa Canyon. This presentation considers the distribution of several great kivas in the canyon, their associations with irrigations systems, and the degree of organizational complexity represented by the great kivas and irrigation communities in the Canyon. This presentation is free and open to the public. A potluck starts at 6:00 pm, followed by a short business meeting. The presentation follows at approximately 6:45 pm.
